Aims for 2007

The principal objective of Gaindegia for this year is to begin to lay the foundations of the OBSERVATORY OF ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT OF EUSKAL HERRIA.

In the belief that there now exists sufficient agreement on the founding of an OBSERVATORY of this kind, we wish 2007 to be the year for taking a firm step forward in the process of creating THE OBSERVATORY.

This year we aim to achieve new members, a firm commitment and broader agreement as a basis for building BEHATEGIA over the years to come. Thus the main task for Gaindegia in 2007 will be to perform the preparatory work for the construction of BEHATEGIA. Therefore we must concentrate our efforts and resources on the achievement of this objective.

In strategic terms, then, we shall work towards the following goals:

  • SOCIALIZATION: Encouraging discussion and achieving agreement about Behategia.
  • ORGANIZATION: Preparing ourselves to provide for the founding of Behategia.
  • FINANCING: Achieving commitments for the financing of Behategia.
  • PRODUCTION: Commencing the preparation of projects that will lay the foundations of Behategia.
